Biography: |
Norman Bel Geddes became known for imaginative designs both for the New York stage and for numerous industrial products such as the teardrop double decker bus, the tear drop car, the streamlined railroad train, the factory for Toledo Scale Co, the streamlined ship, and the model of the city of the future in the General Motors exhibit of the 1940 New York World's Fair. Geddes also designed several theaters and other buildings in the United States and abroad. |
