The Parade of Progress truck fleet began in 1933 by General Motors and this Caravan continued in 1936 which consisted of 33 streamline trucks which traveled throughout the U.S. highlighing General Motors vehicle exhibits as well as scientific advancements, etc. The Parade of Progress Bus Caravan was built in 1939 for the New York World's Fair.
